SAVI is currently available for iPhone and iPad running iOS 16 or later. Your conversations sync across all your Apple devices when you're signed in.

SAVI offers three transcription modes:

• On-Device: Processes audio locally on your phone. Fast and private, but less accurate for complex speech. Uses the least credits.
• Whisper: Uses OpenAI's Whisper for highly accurate cloud transcription. Great for most conversations.
• AssemblyAI: Includes speaker diarization (identifies who said what). Best for meetings with multiple speakers. Uses the most credits.

There's no hard limit on recording length. You can record as long as you have available credits. SAVI will notify you when credits are running low during a recording.

Due to iOS limitations, SAVI cannot directly record phone calls. However, you can use SAVI to record conversations when on speakerphone. Phone call recording support is planned for a future update.

Important: Always ensure you have consent from all parties before recording any conversation. Recording laws vary by location.

Accuracy depends on the transcription mode and audio quality. Whisper and AssemblyAI typically achieve 95%+ accuracy with clear audio. On-Device mode is slightly less accurate but still good for most purposes.

For best results: record in a quiet environment, speak clearly, and keep your phone relatively close to the conversation.

After transcription, SAVI's AI analyzes your conversation and extracts:

• Calendar Events: Dates, meetings, and appointments mentioned
• Reminders: Action items and things to follow up on
• Notes: Other relevant information worth saving

Yes! Tap on any extracted calendar event to add it directly to your iOS Calendar app. Similarly, you can tap on reminders to add them to your Reminders app.

AI extraction isn't perfect and may occasionally miss details or misinterpret context. Always review extracted events and reminders before adding them to your calendar. You can also view the full transcript to verify information.

Credits are measured in recording minutes. When you record a conversation, credits are deducted based on the recording duration and the transcription mode you select.

Credit consumption rates:

• Whisper: ~1.75x
• AssemblyAI: ~2.5x
